At worst, this album is a meandering mess, but at best, it's an overlooked experiment that has some potential. It should be noted, however, that The Melvins did it first, heavier, and better. By far Ministrys least electronically infused record. For fans of Ministry, there is an eerie similarity between the riffs of “Night Goat” and the title track of Filth Pig.

'Filth Pig' is the sixth studio album by Ministry.

Track Picks: "Lava" "Dead Guy" "The Fall" (BEST TRACK) Overall Rating: 3/5 Dude. “Night Goat.” This song kicks my ass every time.
Leif Garrett. La presenza di un vero batterista conferisce a Filth Pig (Warner Bros, 1996) maggiore emotivita` ed espressivita`, ma l'occasione viene in gran parte sprecata da un Jourgensen stanco e ripetitivo, incerto se allinearsi con i Metallica (Crumbs), con i Melvins (Useless) o con Nine Inch Nails (le cadenze circolari pulsanti di piano e le cacofonie infernali di Fall). Night Goat Lyrics: She walks my way to feed / And I grunt my teeth / It's more like hundred milo / And I know more me / But you can make my teeth growl / You can make my underwell / It's a big, dark ON A REE LAND.

Psalm 70 this album isn't, and for good reason. This album features sludgy guitars, BIG drumming from Reiflin, mandolin and harmonica soloes, a Bob Dylan cover, a ballad, and lots of doomy guitar riffs. Distracted by drugs, arrests, and replacing nearly the entire lineup of Ministry, Al Jourgenson took nearly four years to complete Filth Pig.Instead of being a carefully constructed masterpiece, the record is a monotonous attack of relentless guitar noise. That bass line will stick with you for a lifetime. By far Ministrys least electronically infused record.

'Filth Pig' is the sixth studio album by Ministry. It doesn't have all the drum machine thrash beats and sampler-chopped guitar riffs that industrial fans were used too.

is a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana (1991)
